CORONAVIRUSWe are very sorry to inform you that due to the current coronavirus situation we have had to take the decision to cancel GAiN Europe 2020, 24-28 April.
As Christians, we have a responsibility to care for others and each other. With the WHO now declaring the coronavirus to be a pandemic we need to be seen to be part of the solution rather than potentially to become part of the problem.
We have already had a number of participants who are unable to attend as they come from countries that are under travel restrictions/quarantine. Other countries and employers are discouraging or banning travel to international events. In addition, the Romanian government is taking measures to try to reduce the impact of the virus. This includes restricting religious meetings of 100 people or more, the closing of all schools and the cancelling of sporting and social events.
The decision to cancel is taken in consultation with the leadership of the Inter-European and Trans-European Division along with Hope Channel International.
We will keep you informed regarding any future developments including possibilities for an online event or to reschedule for a later date. We will also inform you regarding the release of our cross-network project, Uncertainty.
